"Whatever we well understand we express clearly, and words flow with ease." -- Nicholas Boileau (1636-1711), French poet, critic

Christopher Rios, aka Big Punisher was one of the greatest MC's, ever.

"The Puerto Rican Prince" of the South Bronx, released his debut album, Capital Punishment, in 1998. We all know his hit single featuinrg Joe, "I'm Not a Player,"

But, the original album version of the single,"I'm Not a Player (I Just F*** A Lot)," that samples the O'Jays? That was the Player's Anthem.

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder, Roberto Clemente was the first player of Latin American descent to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Big Pun was the first Latin rapper to go multi-platinum.

Both, were Puerto Rican and died tragically. (Clemente was killed in a plane crash in 1972 at age 38, and Pun of heart failure at 28)

Roberto Clemente died with exactly 3000 hits.

If Big Pun would have lived long enough?

He would have had just as many.
