Quick guide to NBA’s first-round series (Western conference)

NBA-Playoffs

Here are brief notes of NBA’s first-round playoff series:

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Number One: Housten Rockets (65-17) Vs. Number Eight: Minnesota Timberwolves (47-35)

The rockets have been one of the best teams of this season because they defended Champion Warriors on the opening night, itself. While Housten had been giving their best from the very first day, Wolves on the other hand had to put in extra effort by working overtime on the season’s final night so that they could make place for their team in the top eight.

• Game 1 @HOU: 9 p.m. ET, Sunday, April 15 (TNT)
• Game 2 @HOU: 9:30 p.m. ET, Wednesday, April 18 (TNT)
• Game 3 @MIN: 7:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 21 (ESPN)
• Game 4 @MIN: 8 p.m. ET, Monday, April 23 (TNT)
• Game 5 @HOU: TBD, Wednesday, April 25 (TBD)*
• Game 6 @MIN: TBD, Friday, April 27 (TBD)*
• Game 7 @HOU: TBD, Sunday, April 29 (TBD)*

Number Two: Golden State Warriors (58-24) Vs. Number 7: San Antonio Spurs (47-35)

Golden State lost around six of the last ten. Despite of having, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, Golden state entirely revolved around Stephen Curry.

On the other side, San Antonia have operated without their best player, the entire week. Seems like even they are not working at full power, either.

• Game 1 @GS: 3 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 14 (ABC)
• Game 2 @GS: 10:30 p.m. ET, Monday, April 16 (TNT)
• Game 3 @SA: 10:30 p.m. ET, Thursday, April 19 (TNT)

• Game 5 @GS: TBD, Tuesday, April 24 (TBD)*
• Game 6 @SA: TBD, Thursday, April 26 (TBD)*
• Game 7 @GS: TBD, Saturday, April 28 (TBD)*

Number 3: Portland Trail Blazers (49-33) Vs. Number 6:  New Orleans Pelicans (48-34)

DimianLillard’s been giving his best to grab a good position this year. He has been controlling the game in an amazing manner and it is because of this player that Blazer’s have secured a good position, just below Housten and Golden State.

Pelican’s on the other side ended up relying on a single superstar for the entire guidance.

NBA Play Offs

Number 4: Oklahoma City Thunder (48-34) vs. Number 5: Utah Jazz (48-34)

Utah as we all know has been one of the hottest NBA teams since three months. It has also given fans the best stories this entire year because it looked nearly dead in water too many times during this complete season.

Thunder on the other side has faced various ups and downs. The entire team has gone through both good and bad times. There were times where they laid waste to champion ship favourite and on the other days situations were such where all they had to go through was too much struggle.
