Ex-76er Jim Jackson: Ben Simmons does not require Lebron James
The retired NBA player Jim Jackson has a mindset that Philadelphia 76ers should sign Paul George in lieu of Lebron James for a better career. While Lebron has become free agent this summer, as per the recent reports, teams of his choice are:
- The Houston Rockets
- Los Angeles Lakers
- The Cleveland Cavaliers (current one)
Since, 76ers have come across great success in the Eastern Conference, it is said that Lebron might be joining the Cavs opposing team so that a win could easily be secured in the upcoming challenge (championship).
Jim has recently stated that “Why, if I’m Ben Simmons, would I want to be labeled as ‘I got to the Finals because LeBron got us here”
He added, “ Also, because of the way he plays [Ben Simmons], now the ball is out of my hands. LeBron is in the twilight of his career but still playing great basketball. Will he be at this high level? We don’t know."I think the player who makes a lot of sense is Paul George. If I’m Embiid and Simmons it sounds great but if I’m management what I’m looking at is all we need is one or two more pieces to complete this puzzle. I think LeBron hampers, in this situation, the growth of where Ben Simmons wants to go because right now it’s his team.”
While this is all about Jim’s take on the same. Let us find out who plays with which team and against whom, in the upcoming championship.
For now, it has been said that the starting five are going to beJoel Embiid, and James. Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons. But Jim on the other side does not think Ben would be for the same.
