Melvin Gordon from Chargers addresses the contract holdout!
Nothing seems changed at all. Melvin Gordon is adamant about wanting out of Los Angeles.
"I want to end up with the Chargers," "That's my home. I'm not going to sit here and be like, 'Man, I don't want to go back to the Chargers, dah, dah, dah.' Like that's the team who blessed me with an opportunity. They started my life. They changed my life. Out of all 32 teams, that was the team that called. I can't forget them for that."
Gordon, 26, is now moving into the final phase of his deal with none other than the Chargers. He has been offered this term at $5.6million.
Gordon, however, closed his account with the Sports Con by saying that if an opportunity emerged for him on its own, from somewhere which is not NFL, then he would simply board the first bus out of Dodge, without having any second thoughts in mind.
"You know, I want to get paid. That's just kind of what it is. Hopefully I end up a Charger. That's the goal. I want to end up with the Chargers," he mentioned during the closing.
