The narrative of Uptown Records is coming to BET. Prior today, the broadcasting company reported a three-section smaller than expected arrangement about the incredible record mark. Established by Andre Harrell in 1986, Uptown Records was known for propelling the professions of melodic legends in Hip-Hop and R&B including, Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Heavy D and The Boyz, Teddy Riley, Diddy and that's only the tip of the iceberg. From New Jack Swing to Soul, Uptown Records spearheaded the sound of a period.

"We are pleased to breath life into the narrative of Uptown Records and commend the permanent engraving the mark has made on the business, changing the sound, face, and business of R&B and of course hip-bounce," stated  Scott Mills, President BET Networks. "We anticipate joining forces with music industry titan Andre Harrell and powerhouse maker Jesse Collins on the Uptown miniseries, bringing watchers premium substance that reflects and observes Black greatness."

Uptown is set to pursue the name's origination in 1986 to its old in 1999. The arrangement will be official delivered by Uptown Records organizer, Andre Harrell and TV maker, Jesse Collins. Collins is no more peculiar the formation of a music bio arrangement. He filled in as a maker for both The New Edition Story and The Bobby Brown Story.
