Ghost Rider (2007)
Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), who agrees to become the host of a "spirit of vengeance" in exchange for the safety of his true love (Eva Mendes).
Ultimately, the price he has to pay to be cursed with the avenging spirit that takes its form at night as a supernatural demon with a flaming skull on a motorcycle of "hellfire" is too great to bear.
Also starring, Sam Elliott, Wes Bentley and Peter Fonda**.Directed by Mark Steven Johnson.
Ghost Rider's impact on hip-hop can be manifested in the fact that a clothing line and one of our greatest MC's, "Method Man" both use the moniker, "Johnny Blaze".
Plus Marvel doesn't usually put out junky films on their characters. (Outside of Daredevil andHulk.)
Go and peep it!
Easy Rider (1969)
Two long-haired bikers from Los Angeles (Dennis Hopper & Peter Fonda**) take off on a cross-country trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.
On the way they meet several unusual characters.
A rancher and his family, a hitchhiker and the hippie commune where he lives, hookers, red-necks, but most noticeably George Hansen (Jack Nicholson).
A jail cell, a whorehouse and the death of a friend are also in their immediate future.
Also starring,Tita Colorado, Phil Spector, and Antonio Mendoza. Directed by Dennis Hopper.
Peter Fonda is in "Ghost Rider" because of "Easy Rider"...period!
When watching this film for the first time I assumed it was going to be staright garbage...I was dead wrong!
Great film...and rated one of the greats of all-time for a damn good reason.
