Fast & Furious 6
Fast & Furious 6 (2013)
The gang’s all here!
Fast & Furious returns once again, “full throttle” giving you the ultimate thrill ride for Summer 2013.
Dom (Vin Diesel), Hobbs (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson ),Brian (Paul Walker), Tej (Chris "Ludacris" Bridges), Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Mia (Jordana Brewster), Han (Sung Kang), and Gisele (Gal Gadot), all reprise their roles.
But the crown jewel is the return of Michelle Rodriguez as the presumed dead, Letty Ortiz.
With five films spanning over 12 years, Universal's biggest franchise has grossed over$1.5 billion with Fast Six opening at the box office on May 24.
When all is said and done, by the end of the year, the franchise may hit the $2 billion mark. That is a staggering statistic but an accurate one.
Set in different cities across the globe, the team is dispatched to foil and renegade team of high level criminals in order to regain their freedom via government pardons. What follows is action, action and more action.
If you are a true lover of the action movie genre like we are; going to see this film is a no-brainer.
And since we saw Fast Six eleven days early; we are telling you to go on ahead and get exicted about standing in line!
The plot in this film is no different than any other Fast picture, but it’s never really about the plot is it?
It is always about high octane, fast cars, fly women, exotic locales, and the art of money getting.
What represents the Hip Hop Lifestyle more than Fast Six? That’s every rapper, DJ and beatmaker’s wet dream!
But what happens at the end of the film had everyone buzzing on the way out of the theater. Without spoiling the ending, all I can say is…
I cannot wait to see Fast & Furious 7!
The Fast and Furious (1955)
Frank Webster (John Ireland) breaks out of jail to clear his name for a murder he did not commit.
Throughout his travails and out of sheer desperation, he kidnaps a beautiful young woman named Connie (Dorothy Malone) and drives off in her Jaguar.
After she attempts to escape multiple times, strangely they fall head over heels in love which each other.
While eluding police, the pair soon engages into a cross-border sports car race, which Frank plans to use as a cover to escape into Mexico.
But out of love and a desire to be with him, Connie snitches to the cops of his plans in hopes of leniency.
Ultimately, Frank decides it best to turn himself in and the picture ends with the police closing in on him.
The title of the film matches the familiar franchise but the synopsis doesn't truly match up, does it?
The rights to the film's title (but not the story rights) were purchased and became the title of the 2001 film, The Fast and the Furious.
